SCHOOL RULES

- It is mandatory for all students and parents to know and understand these rules:
- Student must come to school in time and attend the assembly and Classes regularly; it is obligatory on the part of the student to bring the diary everyday and note down the home assignment regularly. As the medium of instruction is English, Students should converse in English in the school Premises to improve speaking ability.
- All the students must come to school in the prescribed uniform on school days including all functions and observation days.
- Half-day leave will not be allowed to the students except sickness or emergency.
- All the students should bring with them only books, Notebooks, pencil box, geometry box, Tiffin and water bottle. Students will not be allowed to carry any valuables and wear jewellery, wristwatch etc. The school takes no responsibility in case of loss or theft of any articles.
- A student suffering from any contagious disease shall not come to school until gets cured.
- 75% attendance is essential to be eligible to appear in the Annual examination.
- Silence is to be observed throughout the school hours.
- The students are expected to keep the hair tidy neat and well combed. Girls plait their hair they must not wear fancy hair clips and earnings. Boys must have their hair cut regularly. No student shall be exempted from Physical exercise and games without a Doctor Certificate and Prior approval of school authorities.
- Nail should be clipped regularly and use of nail polish is not allowed.
- Hair cut must be simple, Stylish hair cut is strictly prohibited.
- No special test or examination will be held for the absentees under any circumstances.
- Parents are requested to note that the visiting hour to school is 9 A.M to 10 A.M. To avoid inconvenience it is advised to have prior appointment to meet with the Principal.
- Parents who seek information and who wish to make some complain should do so to the principal and not to the teachers, and are requested not to enter the classrooms and speak to the teachers during school hours. Complaints will not be entertained over the phone.
- Parents are requested to watch carefully the child’s progress in various tests conducted by the school and if deemed necessary, meet the principal for the clarification and advice.
- Students should not be absent from the school without obtaining prior permission of the Principal through the class teacher. In case of sickness where prior permission is not possible, the parents will send an application on the day the student falls sick.
- Uniform should be strictly checked up in accordance with the prescribed pattern and shape. Difference in design, colour, patch, button, flap, emblem etc, will not be permitted.
- Students should neither arrive at the school much earlier nor after the Assembly. Latecomers are not allowed in the classes. The school will not be responsible for students after the school hour is over.
- Vandalizing and defacing school property will be taken seriously and heavy penalty will be imposed to recover the cost.
- Habitual negligence in attending class or doing homework, misconduct, malpractice in the examinations, misbehaving with the teachers, Staff and others students will invite stern disciplinaryaction.
- The classrooms and school premises are to be kept clean. Students must walk quietly in line while participating in their activities.
